Horizon Education Foundation
The purposes of the Foundation are:
1. To provide education support and advocacy services to low-income Canadians, newcomers to Canada and persons with disabilities so that they may more effectively engage in education systems as parents and students;
2. To contribute to the building of research in education by engaging in data collection and providing statistics to demonstrate the need for changes required in education in Canada as it relates to students with disabilities and special needs; and
3. To engage in advocacy activities with government officials, policymakers, other education stakeholders and associations, students, parents and other persons interested in furthering the purposes described above for the benefit of the public.
